# IT1015 — Measuring Principles I Introduces theory, applications and equipment of pressure and flow measurement in the process industries. Module One covers pressure calculations, manometers, pressure elements, gauges, pneumatic and electrical pressure transmitters and differential pressure transmitters. Module Two covers mechanical, electrical and mass flow meters, differential pressure transmitters for flow measurement, weirs and flumes for open channel measurements, and weighing and belt scales for solids measurements.
