# LA1003 — Farm Safety and Biosecurity Regulations Agricultural workers are subject to some of the highest occupational fatality rates in Canada. Students prepare to visit farms, work collaboratively with producers, and enter the workforce safely. Completing provincially mandated health and safety awareness training, students learn to recognize occupational risk with emphasis on farm hazards.
